It started with the boots by my family's door.
I'm Dexter. Every winter, my mum and grandparents faced the same choice: warm boots that felt too narrow, or roomy shoes that let the cold straight in.
Wide-toe barefoot shoes gave their toes space. But I wanted that room in a boot they could reach for on a cold morning, too.
Haven is the boot I wanted for my own family: a rounded front, soft fleece lining and a flat, flexible sole. An everyday winter boot for the coffee run, the errands and the walk after lunch.
